The scheme replaces an earlier proposal for houses with a development of higher density apartments more appropriate to its location. Cores are efficient, most units meet or exceed national housing standards and most are dual aspect. Parking is contained in a basement to maximise communal garden space on site. In a prominent location, elevational quality will be achieved by proportion, quality of materials, including a local brick, and the provision of enclosed rather than projecting balconies.  

The scheme proposes a new public park to the rear, intended to provide an alternative route to a nearby school, and an avenue through the site to this park.
