A new residential community complementing an existing village provides for 1,250 residential units. Phase 1 comprises 728 units, retail and commercial uses and a crèche

The master plan integrates with the existing village in a manner consistent with traditional settlement patterns and reinforces its place as the focal point of the overall development

A series of ‘character areas’ lend a sense of place. A range of planning forms (oval, square, crescent) ensures a variety of spatial experiences and foster local and individual identity.

The design of the character area nearest the existing village was informed by the preservation and articulation of the existing historic burgage plots unique to this village.  

A new boulevard acts as a spine route connecting the new neighbourhoods, focusing on a new neighbourhood centre and public space at the heart of the master plan

Two- and three-storey blocks adjacent to the footpath reinforce street edges and corners

All neighbourhoods are served by a permeable network of streets, allowing for primacy of pedestrian movement within the village

The provision of a wide range of residential tenures and housing typologies contribute to an optimum social balance

A new six hectare park is to be located on the southern edge of the new village
