Terence is a director based in the Belfast office of Reddy Architecture + Urbanism.
He graduated from Newcastle Upon Tyne University School of Architecture in 1975. Terence has won many design awards, including an RIAI Award for Morrison’s Spirit Grocers in Belfast and an RIBA / DoE projects award for Best’s Hill, an international public housing design competition.
Terence’s experience includes his appointment in 2000 as Planning Appeals Commissioner presiding over 300 appeals and various Area Plans within Northern Ireland. He currently sits in the Ministerial Advice Group advising the Government on built environment design issues.
Terence previously held the post of advisor to Architecture and Design Scotland in its inaugural 3 years. He served in the RIBA council between 2007 and 2010 and currently represents the RSUA on the RIAI council.
Since joining the practice in 2007, Terence has been extensively involved with the urban re-generation of Titanic Quarter. He is primarily involved in the community, health, residential, sport and leisure sectors and continues to act as an expert witness in many high profile legal cases.
