Kidbrooke Village, Blocks F and G, London

Following on from the successes of delivering Blocks C and D in Kidbrooke Village, Berkeley Homes have commissioned Reddy A+U to take on the design development and delivery phases of Blocks F and G within Phase 3 of the development. Reddy A+U are proud of this long term association with the Kidbrooke development with over 400 built and another 500 to be delivered to Berkeley’s exacting standards.

The project at Kidbrooke sees the Ferrier estate demolished and redeveloped to provide for over 4,500 units. Reddy A+U have now worked on 5 buildings and our long association with this project and the client body is one of the mainstays of our London office. We pride ourselves on the regeneration of the site and the placemaking of the wider urban environment.

The project at Kidbrooke Village is phase 3 of the scheme and provides the town centre of this new area of London adjacent the affluent area of Blackheath. Kidbrooke village is one of Berkeleys most successful regenerations with the severely deprived area now attracting young families and professionals alike.

Reddy A+U have been reworking the interiors and architecture of the buildings to work within the stringent standards of Berkeley Homes, East Thames division. This has included planning and legislative changes. The scheme has been affected by the new fire regulations being developed and Reddy A+U have been advising Berkeleys in the approach to this new challenges across a number of projects. Our understanding of the impact on the design and viability of these changes on the project is one of the key reasons Berkeley trusts us repeatedly.
