Vhi – Barrysparks Healthcare
This innovative healthcare facility is the initial phase of the development of a new biophilic healthcare campus. Our design concept establishes the structure for an acute facility and begins the journey to creating a healthcare village on the site that will transform VHI’s members’ experience of health & wellbeing and to offer prompt, convenient, integrated, and personalised care across both community and acute care settings.
This new purpose-built state of the art Healthcare Campus will transform the experience of healthcare and healing and through its connection with the Barrysparks and Crowscastle masterplan is knitted into the Swords community.
Our design encourages community integration and health promotion through a strong landscape narrative which supports the people centred focus of our design. The healing-oriented natural landscape and community spaces with links to the wider parkland, Swords town and public transport will have a positive impact on VHI members psychological and physical well-being.
