An award winning corporate headquarters for a national telecoms organisation, to consolidate 1,800 staff from 16 existing premises into one location, offering improved productivity, energy usage and property management.

Three main office plates of 15 m depth are separated by service zones over 6 floors on each side of a central atrium, designed to be capable of subdivision into two buildings. The move from traditional cellularization to a full open plan working environment was facilitated by the creation of discrete areas in a neighbourhood concept. The accommodation includes open plan offices, meeting rooms, restaurant, café, training rooms, NGX presentation area, retail units, telephone exchange. The building is aligned east-west axis to maximise even levels of daylight and reduce exposure to solar gain.
