Embassy Gardens Phase 2, London

Following the successful completion of 326 apartments in Phase 1 of the Embassy Gardens development, Reddy A+U has developed a further 910 apartments in Phase 2. The apartments are arranged in three blocks, linked together by a raised podium garden over a ground-level parking structure. The buildings are renowned for the worlds first transparent Skypool which will allow people to swim from one block to another 35m above the ground.

From a concept design by Arup Associates, Reddy A+U is developing the scheme from RIBA Stage 4 to completion on site, including discharge of planning conditions, building control approvals, through full interior fit-out to handover.

Reddy A+U are responsible for the full design and delivery coordination including the interior fitout of the apartments and some of the retail units. This includes for the prestigious restaurant for Darby’s by the renowned Irish chef, Robin Gill.

Halfway up the 21 storey towers is the transparent ‘pool in the sky’, spanning between two blocks at 10th floor level, the first of its kind in the world.

This landmark development sitting adjacent to the new American Embassy is one of key elements in the regeneration of the Nine Elms area of London, providing housing for both private and social occupants designed and built to the highest standards.
