The Story
Reddy A+U were architects as well as interior designers on the project and maintained a close relationship with the client. The brief included the conversion of an 18th century manor house and formal gardens, with additional new hotel facilities, an eighteen-hole golf course, club house, ancillary golf lodges and gate lodge accommodation.
The Challenge
The primary focus of the new development was to sensitively integrate the new builds into existing historic landscape and to protect an existing 13th century Norman castle on site.
The Outcome
The final luxury complex included new bedrooms, a swimming pool & spa facility, a large function room, and full bar and restaurant facilities.

Lisa Smyth is the Head of Interiors at Reddy Architecture + Urbanism. Since graduating in 1996 Lisa has worked as Interior Project Architect in Ireland and internationally on a wide range of projects including Office, Retail, Hospitality, Healthcare, Student Amenity and Accommodation and Residential Fit Outs.
